Installing Dynamics CRM 2016 on SQL 2016 and Windows 2016

While installing Dynamics 2016 on SQL 2016 and Windows 2016, I encountered the following errors

Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Common.InstallWindowsSearchAction failed

Solution

1. Go to Services
2. Look for Windows Search Service
3. Set it to Automatic and Start the service
4. Go back and hit retry to continue the installation.

Second Error When installing the Reporting Extensions

Could not find a part of the path ‘c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.SQL_CRM2016\Reporting Services\ReportManager\web.config’.”

Solution

1. Go to c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.SQL_CRM2016\Reporting Services
2. Create a folder called ReportManager
3. Copy webconfig file from c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.SQL_CRM2016\Reporting Services into the ReportManager folder
4. Go back and hit retry to continue the installation
